REGINE

Régine, whose real name is Régina Zylberberg, also known as her wife Régine Choukroun, is a French businesswoman and singer, born on 26 December 1929 in Anderlecht, Belgium. She started out in the nightclub Chez Régine in Saint-Germain-des-Prés and then moved to Montparnasse to work at New Jimmy's. Finally, she would go on to run nightclubs that would bear her name all over the world. She has also had a number of hit singles with Les p'tits papiers, La Grande Zoa, Patchouli-chinchilla and Azzurro.
