Famille de MONACO

The Monegasque princely family is composed of members considered as dynasts within the family of the Prince of Monaco, sovereign of the Principality of Monaco.

The sovereign prince and the whole family belong to the third branch of the House of Grimaldi, which is one of the oldest reigning dynasties in the world (according to the traditional Agnatic definition of the reigning house, the Principality of Monaco passed to the de Goyon family in 1731 and then to the de Polignac family in 1949). However, the children of Princesses Caroline and Stéphanie belong to the Casiraghi and Ducruet families.
