BAMBOU

Caroline Paulus is a model and singer, born on March 1st 1959, known to have been Serge Gainsbourg's last companion. Bambou was 20 years old when she met Serge Gainsbourg at a party at the Élysée Matignon. Failed by Jane Birkin, the singer fell madly in love with the young Eurasian. Together they had a son, Lulu, born in 1986, who was also a musician.
In 1989 Bambou released his first and only album, "Made in China", featuring songs composed by Serge Gainsbourg. In 2003, she took up the microphone again to sing a duet with Marc Lavoine, the hit "Dis moi que l'amour".
