Ann-Gisel GLASS

Ann-Gisel Glass is a French actress, born on 17 June 1964 in Strasbourg. She was awarded the best actress of the year in Germany (Deutscher Filmpreis) for the film Silent Shadows (de) by Sherry Hormann. Born of a German father and a mother of American origin, Ann-Gisel Glass spent her childhood in West Africa until she was 10 years old. Upon returning to France in 1974, she attended the schools of Salon-de-Provence and Aix-en-Provence. She quickly showed an interest in theatre and cinema. She filmed her first short films from the age of 14 and then on to the theatre.In 1981, after an experience in the circus and animals, she left Provence for Paris where she began her real film career.
