Nanette WORKMAN

Nanette Joan Workman is an American singer and actress born November 20, 1945 in New York, USA. She grew up in Jackson (Mississippi) where she began her career.
She sings in French and English and became a star in Quebec after meeting Tony Roman in 1965. She has been a backup singer for Johnny Hallyday, the Rolling Stones, John Lennon and Ringo Starr. She has also appeared on Doris Troy, Gary Wright and Mahogany Rush albums and in the rock opera Starmania by Luc Plamondon and Michel Berger, (in which she plays the role of Sadia). She also participated in La Légende de Jimmy by the Plamondon-Berger duo.
