Jacques HIGELIN

Jacques Higelin was a French singer-songwriter and actor, born on 18 October 1940 in Brou-sur-Chantereine (Seine-et-Marne) and died on 6 April 2018 in Nogent-sur-Marne.

Attracted to the world of show business at an early age, he began an acting career and then launched into singing with the support of producer Jacques Canetti. While maintaining regular contact with the theatre, he became increasingly successful over the years and made a lasting impact on the French music scene in the 1970s and 1980s. He returned to public favour at the end of the 2000s and continued to record albums and perform live on stage.
