Anne PARILLAUD

As a teenager, Anne Parillaud took dance and drama lessons. In 1977, she appears for the first time in the cinema in Un amour de sable, then, the following year, in L' Hôtel de la plage. But it was Alain Delon who gave her her first important roles by engaging her in the two films he directed: Pour la peau d'un flic (1981) and Le Battant (1983). The consecration came a few years later, in 1990, with Nikita, and a role that Luc Besson, her companion at the time, wrote especially for her. Her performance as a hired killer earned her the César for Best Actress in 1991.
